La Via della Seta is the result of a 30 years experience in the East: this knowledge has been developed through travels.

Umberto Cuomo, the owner of the activity, has spent his youth by exploring India, Turkey, Nepal, the Caucasus and many other regions. In 1987 by deciding to convert his experience into a business, he realizes his dream, which has always been living in contact with these cultures.

In 2008 he decides to move his commercial activity to larger premises, which also allowed artistic exhibitions and cultural events managed by Irma Toudjian, president of the cultural Association "Suoni e Pause".
